Recalls and Stays - Pamela Leland

Although these are two distinct behaviors, they share the concept of impulse control. When recalling a dog, we are competing with their impulse to respond to more reinforcing environmental distractions. When cueing a dog to stay in place, we are competing with their impulse to follow us or to wander off toward more reinforcing distractions in the environment. This book does a deep dive into training both the Recall and the Stay. The exercises in this book are designed to give you positive results.
