A native of California’s Mendocino Coast, Lee Patton has enjoyed life in Colorado since college. His fiction and poetry have been widely published and his plays produced nationwide. Among many journals, poems have appeared in The Threepenny Review, The Massachusetts Review, The California Quarterly, and HawaiiPacific Review, Good Men Project, On the Veranda, New Verse News, and Poetry Quarterly. Among many anthologies, his work’s appeared in Going Down Grand, Weatherings, Hawaii-Pacific Review’s Best of Decade, the Poets On:series, XY-Files, and Hunger Enough, including the title poem in What’s Become of Eden: Poems of Family at Century’s End and the cover poem in Memoir Journal.

Many of these poems were written thanks to residencies at McDowell Colony, UCross, and Anderson Center. His fourth novel, Every Summer Day, was launched in June 2020 and Coming to Life on South High is forthcoming in 2021, both from Bold Strokes Books.
