A Hundred Pairs of Eyes

Nothing is more satisfying than the crafting of poetry, the translation of experience into the specificity of language. Carole Croll has been crafting poetry for over twenty years. This former teacher of English language learners brings to her work a simplicity that is intelligible, refreshing. A former massage therapist, Carole recognizes the therapeutic value of touch and provides through her poetic renderings a vehicle for embracing the natural world, for palpating its beauty as it reveals itself, judiciously, candidly, and exquisitely—to her. She has been awarded by the Illinois State Poetry Society, The Nevada Poetry Society, and Poets and Patrons of Chicago. Her work has appeared in numerous publications and collections. She is the author of a volume of poetry entitled The Gift Forthcoming, poems of love, beauty, and spirit.
